Product overview
Redispersible polymer powder (RDP) is produced by spray-drying polymer dispersions. On contact with water it re-disperses and forms a polymer film as the mortar cures. Common types are vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAc/E), vinyl acetate-VeoVa and acrylic grades.
Main uses
Tile adhesives, bonding and rendering mortars in external insulation systems, self-levelling compounds, wall putty, gypsum-based mortars and repair mortars.

Дозировка и применение
- 01Typical dosage in dry-mix mortars is about 1-3% of the total dry mix for tile adhesives, bonding mortars and repair mortars, adjusted to the required flexibility and adhesion.
- 02For flexible putty and plasters a typical dosage is about 1-2%, and for waterproof mortars about 2-4%; confirm the level with trial batches.
- 03Add the powder to the dry blend and mix thoroughly before adding water; pre-blending with the other powders prevents lumps.
- 04Add the mixing water gradually and let the mortar rest for a few minutes before re-stirring; do not re-temper mortar that has already started to set.
- 05Run a small trial batch to verify adhesion, flexibility and open time against the target formulation before full-scale production.
